Hello dolls, hope everyone is having an amazing week! ♥ I had such an amazing birthday week last week. (If you missed my birthday post, here it is) My family, boyfriend, girlfriends, and coworkers sure know how to make me a girl feel extra special (so sad it’s over)! Now we just wait– 365 days left until the next outing! Woot. woot.
I kept things very low key this year, I wanted to relax rather than go out and party. On Wednesday (day of my birthday) I was able to sleep in and it felt so good! I haven’t been able to do that on a weekday in forever! Brian and I had a lunch date plan but were both craving burgers from TGI’s so instead of having a formal lunch, we opted for Tgi’s instead. Once in awhile I crave their burgers and that day that’s all I wanted 😛 We then met my friends at Alero’s on U st for Happy Hour. It was so nice to see some of my high school friends I had not seen since our high school graduation! We mingled and just had an awesome time laughing and eating!
On Thursday, when I walked into my office my lovely coworkers had balloons, decorations, a red velvet cake waiting for me. Of course my boss had to scare me before surprising me lol. 😛
During the weekend, Brian and I booked a hotel and went on a little stay-cation in North Bethesda. We had our “best couple friends” come over Friday night for some food + wine. Saturday I went and got my hair done (dyed + blow dried). I love my new look but hope my curls aren’t too damaged (eeeeeeeeeek)! On Sunday we did what I do best, brunch! What’s a birthday without a brunch? We went to Atown in Arlington, VA and had a ball! Atown is definitely a place I will be visiting again. The best part? They have a DJ and it’s so live in there!
Everything worked out as planned and overall was such a nice birthday week! I am beyond blessed to have such amazing friends in my life! Thank you for ALL for the sweet comments + messages!
Enjoy the pictures!
