Planning a destination bachelorette party can be a little overwhelming. When Kiara (the bride) told us she wanted to visit Tulum, Mexico I was excited but all I could think about was the decorations and how we could still decorate while traveling. I am all for detail when it comes to any type of party. Personalized details always make people feel more special. I wanted our bride to feel special too!
Final Fiesta was our theme of the bachelorette party. Anything that gave us Mexican feels with palm leaves, we had to have! Because we were limited with what we could bring, we knew anything that could be inflated and printed were the best options. This meant mylar balloons, pool floaties, and personalized place cards.
Our Airbnb was so dreamy! The apartment had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (sleeps 8), a full kitchen and dining/living room, and an outside terrace. Aldea Zama luxury community in an area close to the beach in Tulum (about a 10 min drive). It is close to restaurants, eco-parks, shopping, and Mayan Ruins (a must visit). I do recommend renting a car to get around if you are going with a group larger than 4. If you choose not to you can rent bikes to get around. I will say there’s quite a bit of construction around the neighborhood, but we never heard any noise of it. There is security out which made us feel safer 🙂
The host (a couple) was also very sweet and quick to respond to us if we needed anything!
We brought three floaties: an engagement ring, lips, and unicorn floaty. We placed one inside the house since it went so well with the decoration inside. Tip: Be sure to purchase a small pool pump to inflate them all once you arrive at your destination.
Our beautiful Airbnb had an outside patio and tub that we decorated with cactus, flamingo, and pineapple string lights. The colors outside of the Airbnb went so well with our theme/decorations too! 🙂
The dining table was decorated with a palm leaf placemat and a place card on top that said “Nacho average bride! Welcome to Kiara’s Final Fiesta.” Each bachelorette had a personalized name tag and color-coded cactus on their wine glasses to know whose was whose.
What’s a party without photo props and wristbands? 😛 If you saw my Beyondchella birthday bands, I did something similar for Kiara’s bachelorette party. They are so easy to make and gives any party a personalized touched. The wristbands were our first surprise to the bride, we wore them on our way to Tulum 😀
One bride, five bachelorettes, and six different personalities all came together to celebrate our favorite bride to be!
This was an hour and a half later surprising the bride to be! ♥
If you visit Tulum, I definitely recommend this place! The only downside is that the main door does not have a peephole in case someone ever knocks. This happened to us around midnight one night and we were all afraid for our lives LOL. It was probably our neighbors but we will never know since we never opened the door. *shrugs*
